Kelly Edwards, Co-Host of HGTV’s “Design on a Dime” and Author of a brand new book, will offer tips on how to create the look and living environment that suits you! Not just another designing diva, this former teen beauty queen is also a do-it-yourself darling with passion for all things self-created from fabrics to fashions to foods. The celebrity designer offers dwellers with decorating dilemmas distinctive design tips, bargain-decorating projects, and total home makeover transformations inspired by personal style and popular trends. Kelly will share her creative approach to home design in complimentary seminars at the Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show, Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day) 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm. The Ft Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show is happy to present a brand new group of artists in the popular Artist Encounter Art Show, courtesy of Around Town Arts & Culture. Visitors to the show will enjoy a "taste" of a variety of artistic mediums, from traditional artwork, to culinary creations, to a sample of the performing arts. In addition to getting ideas and inspiration for their homes, show visitors can watch and interact with the artists, chefs & performers that will be featured each day in the "Artist Encounter" at the Home Show. This interactive art show is a great stop for unique holiday gifts for art lovers!

La Cuisine & Clark's Culinary Stage Offers Daily Cooking Shows By Guest Chefs
A series of guest chefs will present delicious recipes in daily cooking shows, sponsored by La Cuisine & Clark Appliances. Following each cooking demo, tasty samples will be enjoyed by the show audience. La Cuisine & Clark Appliances, sponsors of the culinary stage, will be awarding prizes throughout the weekend as well as recipes for show attendees to enjoy at home. Learn Design Ideas from the Professionals
ASK A DESIGNER: For the first time, the ASID Florida South Chapter is hosting complimentary consultations with an ASID designer at the Home Show! There are a limited number of thirty minute consultation times available on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 pm -5:00 pm. Advance registration is highly suggested. To secure a complimentary consultation, call Jeffrey Gillis at the ASID at 954-926-7555.

DESIGNER ROOM SETTINGS: Several originally designed room settings will be presented by South Florida designers in the popular Designer Room Vignettes. The participating designers will be on hand to talk with show attendees about interior design.
